Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,093 VND/USD on September 30, down 25 VND from the last working day of the previous week.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,298 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,888 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates also decreased.
At 8:27am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,440 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,780 VND/USD, both down 20 VND from September 27.
Similarly, BIDV also cut both rates by 20 VND, posting the buying rate at 24,440 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,780 VND/USD./.
