Reference exchange rate drops by 1 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,447 VND/USD on August 23, down by 1 VND from August 22.
Hanoi(VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,447VND/USD on August 23, down by 1 VND from August 22.

With the current  +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,120 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,774 VND per USD.

Vietcombank listed 22,690 VND (buying) and 22,760 VND (selling), per USD, unchangedfrom the day ago.

BIDV offered 22,695 VND (buying) and 22,765 VND (selling), per USD, up 5 VND.

Vietinbank retained its buying rate at 22,680 VND, and its selling rate at 22,760VND, per USD from August 22.-VNA
