Reference exchange rate goes down 1 VND on July 18 (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted its reference VND/USD exchange rate down by 1 VND from July 17 to 22,436 VND/USD on July 18.
With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 23,109 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,763 VND per USD.
Major commercial banks made a slight adjustment to their rates at the opening hours.
Vietcombank offered 22,695 VND (buying) and 22,765 VND (selling), per USD, remaining unchanged from the day ago.
BIDV listed its buying and selling rates at 22,690 VND (buying) and 22,760 VND (selling), per USD, down 5 VND from the rates at the end of June 17.
Techcombank kept its buying rate unchanged from the day before at 22,680 VND and adjusted its selling rate up 10 VND to 22,770 VND.-VNA
