Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,290 VND/USD on November 21, up 5 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,505 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,076 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw slight increases.
At 8:31 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,200 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,504 VND/USD, up 5 VND from November 20, respectively.
Meanwhile, BIDV posted the buying rate at 25,210 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,504 VND/USD, up 35 VND and 5 VND, respectively./.
