Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,293 VND/USD on November 19, up 5 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,508 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,078 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw increases.
At 8:31 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,205 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,507 VND/USD, up 25 VND and 5 VND from November 15, respectively.
BIDV posted the buying rate at 25,205 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,502 VND/USD./.
