Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,285 VND/USD on November 20, down 8 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,499 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,071 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw decreases.
At 8:251 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,200 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,499 VND/USD, down 5 VND and 8 VND from November 19, respectively.
BIDV posted the buying rate at 25,175 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,499 VND/USD, down 30 VND and 8 VND, respectively./.
