Reference exchange rate remains stable

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,175 VND per USD on July 7, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial bank during the day is 23,871 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,479 VND/USD.

The rates listed at commercial banks saw fluctuations.

At 8:30 am, the rates at BIDV were listed at 22,910 VND/USD (buying) and 23,110 VND/USD (selling), both up 10 VND from July 6.

Meanwhile, Vietcombank kept both rates unchanged from the previous day, listing the buying rate at 22,870 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,100 VND/USD./.
