Reference exchange rate revised down 10 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam on February 8 set the reference exchange rate at 22,435 VND/USD, down 10 VND from the previous day.

– The State Bank of Vietnam on February 8 set the reference exchange rate at 22,435 VND/USD, down 10 VND from the previous day.

With the current trade band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,108 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,764 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the price of USD saw a little decrease from the previous day.

Vietcombank listed the rates at 22,660 VND/USD (buying) and 22,730 VND/USD (selling), down 10 VND from February 7.

Both rates listed by Vietinbank were down by 6 VND, to 22,662 VND/USD (buying) and 22,732 VND/USD (selling).

Meanwhile, BIDV maintained their rates at 22,675 VND (buying) and 22,745 VND (selling). - VNA
