Reference exchange rate revised down 5 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,650 VND/USD on June 29, down 5 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 22,650 VND/USD on June 29, down 5 VND from the previous day.

With thecurrent trading band of /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercialbanks during the day is 23,329 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,971 VND/USD.

The openinghour rates at commercial banks saw increases.

Vietcombankis listing the buying rate at 22,915 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,985VND/USD, both up 15 VND from the previous day.

The rates atBIDV were also raised by 15 VND to 22,920 VND/USD (buying) and 22,990 VND/USD(selling).

AtTechcombank, the greenback is being bought at 22,900 VND/USD and sold at 22,990VND/USD, both up 20 VND from June 28.-VNA
