Reference exchange rate revised down by 6 VND

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,209 VND per USD on July 23, down 6 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,905 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,512 VND/USD.

The rates listed at major commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:10 am, Vietcombank kept both rates unchanged from July 22, listing the buying rate at 22,890 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,120 VND/USD.

Meanwhile, Vietinbank cut both rates by 5 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,890 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,110 VND/USD./.
