Hanoi (VNA) - The daily reference exchange rate went up further on November 23, standing at 22,743 VND per USD, up 10 VND from November 22.
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,424 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,062 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks stayed stable.
Both Vietcombank and BIDV kept their rates unchanged from November 22, listing the buying rate at 23,305 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,395 VND/USD.
Techcombank added 5 VND to both rates, with the buying rate at 23,285 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,395 VND/USD.
This week (November 19 to 23), the reference exchange rate was unchanged on Monday but has been on a rising trend for the rest of the week.
The rates at commercial banks have also gone up since Tuesday. -VNA
