Reference exchange rate up 1 VND on January 15
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,158 VND/USD on January 15, up 1 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,852 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,463 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at most commercial banks stayed stable.
At 8:20 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,085 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,235 VND/USD, unchanged from the closing hour rates on January 14.
At BIDV, both rates have been kept unchanged for many days, with the buying rate listed at 23,110 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,230 VND/USD.
Techcombank kept both rates unchanged, with the buying rate listed at 23,096 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,236 VND/USD./.
