With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,398 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,035 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks saw slight increases compared to September 25.
Vietcombank increased both rates by 5 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,300 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,380 VND/USD.
At BIDV, the buying rate is being listed at 23,310 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,390 VND/USD, both up 15 VND from September 25.
Techcombank raised the buying rate by 5 VND to 23,289 VND/USD and the selling rate by 10 VND to 23,390 VND/USD.-VNA
