Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,278 VND/USD on December 18, up 8 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,492 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,064 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw increases.
At 8:37 am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,191 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,491 VND/USD, up 8 VND from December 17./.
