Reference exchange rate up on February 28

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,463 VND/USD on February 28, up 15 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 22,463 VND/USD on February 28, up 15 VND from the previousday.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied tocommercial banks during the day is 23,136 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,792VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks continued to rise for anotherday.

Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 22,715 VND/USD and theselling rate at 22,785 VND/USD, both up 10 VND from February 27.

The green back is being bought at Vietinbank at22,712 VND/USD and sold at 22,782 VND/USD, both up 5 VND.-VNA
