Since the establishment of diplomatic ties, the relationship has been fostered on the basis of political trust, shared historical and cultural values, and mutual respect, and has expanded comprehensively, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Nguyen Van Hai.

Vietnam, Mexico strengthen locality-to-locality cooperation

Despite the geographical distance, Hai highlighted striking similarities between Taxco and Vietnam's heritage destinations such as Hoi An, Hue, and Ninh Binh. He suggested both sides explore partnerships in sustainable tourism management, urban heritage preservation, and culture-driven economic development.

School celebrates Vietnam-Mexico ties

The school’s principal Marisol Nolasco Najera affirmed that since the school was founded in 1975, stories about Vietnam have always brought valuable lessons to its teachers and students.

Mexican newspaper highlights Mexico - Vietnam diplomatic relations

In the article, Mexican Ambassador to Vietnam Alejandro Negrín Muñoz was quoted as saying that Mexico and Vietnam have many significant similarities. Both countries are emerging middle-sized economies, have influence in the region and are working to reduce poverty and social inequality.

50 years of Vietnam-Mexico ties marked with enhanced media cooperation

During the trip, conducted as part of the activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam – Mexico diplomatic relations (May 19), the delegation had working sessions with President of Mexico's Club of Journalists Mouris Salloum George and Director of the Mexican Radio Institute (IMER)’s international radio Velia Perez Martínez, and visited the Vietnamese Embassy and representative offices in the country.

Mexican journalist presented prize of National External Information Service Awards

Works by Mouris Salloum George, President of Mexico's Club of Journalists, have provided objective information about Vietnam to the people of Mexico, thereby contributing to the promotion of the traditional friendship between the two nations, especially during the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations (May 19, 1975 - 2025).
