Kang,from the Republic of Korea, defeated Do Nguyen Trung Hau of HCM City40-23 in the final match to pocket a bonus of 50 million VND (2,300USD).

A bronze medal went to another Korean cueist, Cho Jae-ho, the world's No 6 ranked player.
