It is also to takethe initiative in mobilising resources for research and bolsteringinternational cooperation in vaccine production.
Inparticular, it will push ahead with the implementation of agreements andmemoranda of understanding at the highest level, with various partners includingIsrael, China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, among others, as well as withinternational research programmes.
It willseek to connect with major forums to gain experience, share effective COVID-19prevention measures with international friends, and promote Vietnam’sachievements and products in the field.
Theministry has also called for effectiveness in regional and global science andtechnology networks to provide information on COVID-19 and help tackle thepandemic, raising Vietnam’s prestige and influence in the international arena.
TheDirectorate of Standards, Metrology, and Quality is to support relevant enterprisesin regard to technical standards in preventive measures. It will arrange free trainingon the management and registration of codes and barcodes to stabilise operationsand improve productivity in the post-pandemic period.
