Reviving rare animals at Vu Quang National Park

Over the past years, whenever they receive information about animals in need of rescue, the staff of Vu Quang National Park in the central province of Ha Tinh immediately set out for the rescue mission. They are likened to "unprofessional doctors" who have revived thousands of wild animals and then returned them to the natural habitats.

At the rescue center of Vu Quang National Park, over 50 rare animals, including some 20 primates and 30 turtles, are currently being cared for. Many of them are soon to be released back into the wild.

Vu Quang National Park was established six years ago. Ever since, its staff have responded promptly to any information regarding animals in need of rescue and transfer, despite day or night.

Over the past six years, Vu Quang National Park has cared for, and released 1,500 wild animals back into the nature. The park has been honored with the ASEAN Heritage Park title as a place for wildlife conservation./.
