A programme entitled “Dreams come true” featuring Republic of Korea (RoK) businesses’ contributions to Vietnamese society will be broadcast weekly on the Hanoi Television from mid-September to December this year.
Minister Counsellor of the RoK Embassy in Vietnam, Park Noh-wan, released the information at a press briefing in Hanoi on September 7.
Park said that over the past three years, RoK businesses have raised almost 8.2 million USD to grant scholarships, build houses for the poor and provide assistance to flood victims in Vietnam.
The RoK is now one of the biggest foreign investors in Vietnam, with over 2,800 projects worth 23.4 billion USD, employing more than 500,000 local workers./.
