Seoul (VNA) - The Republic of Korea (RoK) plans to sell a combined 7 trillion won (6.23 billion USD) in State bonds in July, Yonhap news agency reported.
The government will issue 1.5 trillion won in bonds with a maturity of three years and another 1.5 trillion won in five-year bonds, Yonhap news agency cited the Ministry of Strategy and Finance as saying on June 28.
It also plans to sell 1.65 trillion won in 10-year Treasurys and a combined 2.3 trillion won of bonds with a maturity of 20 or 30 years.
The ministry said the RoK Government will repay State debts worth 200 billion won in July.
In June, the ministry sold a total of 10.41 trillion won in state bonds, including 540 billion won worth of 5-year Treasurys.-VNA
