The first capital rural youth festival opened at the King Ly Thai To garden in Hanoi on March 20, opening a forum for young people in rural areas to discuss and share experience in production and business.
The large-scale festival, held by the Hanoi Municipal Communist Youth Union, is also to present and promote traditional handicraft products made by young artisans.
The Union took this opportunity to make a club of rural young people doing business well debut, inaugurate a food market and an exhibition on rural youth on the way of integration. The exhibition covers 79 booths displaying traditional handicraft products such as Van Phuc silk and products inlayed with mother-of-pearl.
The two-day festival includes an exhibition, talks on the capital’s youth joining hands in developing new rural areas, a ceremony to commend outstanding young businesspeople and models, contests and art performances./.
