Russia awards Vietnamese friendship activists
Russian Ambassador to Vietnam A.G. Kovtun on behalf of the Russian
Foreign Ministry presented the badge “for contribution to international
cooperation” to three officials of Vietnam Union Friendship
Organisations (VUFO) and Vietnam – Russia Friendship Association (VRFA)
on May 17 in Hanoi.

Foreign Ministry presented the badge “for contribution to international
cooperation” to three officials of Vietnam Union Friendship
Organisations (VUFO) and Vietnam – Russia Friendship Association (VRFA)
on May 17 in Hanoi.
The officials were Chairman of VUFO Vu Xuan Hong, Deputy Chairman of VUFO, Tran Dac Loi and General Secretary of VRFA, Nguyen Thi Minh Hien.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Ambassador thanked the leaders of VUFO and VRFA for their activities to improve the two countries’ strategic partnership and spoke highly of achievements and contributions that the two organisations have made to help enhance the traditional friendship and multifaceted relations between the two countries and peoples.
He also expressed his hope that Vietnam will continue to contribute to the two sides’ cooperation and mutual understanding./.
