A seminar took place in the central province of Ninh Thuan on April 11 to share experience in educating disabled children.

Ninh Thuan (VNA) – A seminar tookplace in the central province of Ninh Thuan on April 11 to share experience ineducating disabled children.

Organised by the provincial Department ofEducation and Training and the United Nations Children’s Fund, the eventattracted scientists, managers and teachers specialised in early interventionand integration education for disabled children.

They discussed zoning off support centresfor integration education and specialised education establishments, raising publicawareness of the effort, improving services for disabled children andoverseeing enforcement of policies targeting them.

Participants agreed that integrationeducation for disabled children in centres in Vietnam and Ninh Thuan inparticular basically meet parents’ expectations, helping them integrate intoschool life.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of theprovincial People’s Committee Le Van Binh said effective models should befurther spread, adding that suggestions at the event will serve as reference toreport to the government to issue proper policies, helping children living inspecial circumstances access education.-VNA

Vietnam’s digital map updates 34 provincial-level administrative units

An 1:1,000,000-scale administrative map of Vietnam online and in digital *.pdf format will be released once the National Assembly’s Resolution on the reorganisation of provincial-level administrative units in 2025 takes effect in oder to promptly support the Prime Minister’s direction and administration, support state management by ministries, sectors, and localities; and meet requirements of organisations and individuals.
