) - Referees from Singapore will take charge of two key matchesin the V.League’s last round this week.

The Vietnam Professional Football Company has hired Foo Chuan Hui, 36, to runthe match between Becamex Binh Duong and next-to-bottom Thanh Hoa.

Meanwhile, Nathan Chan Rong De, 28, will officiate the game of Hoang Anh GiaLai, who have earned enough points to stay in the V.League, and bottom-placedSanna Khanh Hoa.

All matches of this round will kick off on October 23 at 5pm.

Hiring foreign officials is part of the VPF’s efforts to combat match-fixing.

On October 19, Malaysian referees also worked in Vietnam./.
