Sixth Golden Dragon exercise kicks off in Cambodia

Cambodia and China launched the sixth edition of their Golden Dragon joint military exercise in Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia, on May 16.

Phnom Penh (VNA) – Cambodia and China launched the sixth edition of their Golden Dragon joint military exercise in Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia, on May 16.

The exercise, themed “joint counter-terrorism operations and humanitarian relief”, will last for 15 days.

Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF)’s spokesperson Major General Thong Solimo said that the exercise aims to exchange experience between the Cambodian and Chinese militaries, and enhance security and counter-terrorism capacity in each country and the region./.
