Hanoi (VNA) – The National Assembly(NA) spent most of the morning on May 26 to discuss online a number of contentiouscontents in the draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles ofthe Law on Organisation of the NA.
The NA also heard a proposal on the draft lawon environmental protection (revised) and a report verifying the draft law.
In the afternoon, the NAcontinued with their online meeting. The deputies heard a report of the NAStanding Committee which explained issues raised during previous debates on thedraft investment law (revised) and adjustments made to the draft based onacquired feedback. They then discussed matters of difference in the draft law.
Following the discussion,Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung gave more explanations onissues of deputies’ concern.
On May 27, the NA is scheduled to look into a report of the NA’ssupervision team on the implementation of policies and laws on preventing andfighting the abuse of children. The sitting will be broadcast live on nationaltelevision and radio channels as well as the NA’s TV channel./.
