Vietnam’s northern province of Son La and Laos’ Luang Prabang province have completed the plan of planting 13 more border markers on their shared border line, according to the Son La provincial Department for External Relations.
They are the first two provinces to finish their task under a joint-Vietnam-Laos plan to upgrade and plant more markers along their border line.
During the construction process, the two sides strictly observed regulations adopted by the two governments and worked closely to ensure border security, contributing to boosting the two provinces’ socio-economic development and national defence./.
