Representatives of embassies, international and non-governmental organisations in Vietnam on March 1 took a spring tour to the famous Bat Trang porcelain village in Hanoi’s suburban of Gia Lam.
The event was coorganised by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations, its Hanoi Chapter and the Gia Lam People’s Committee, with the aim of introducing Vietnam’s culture to interested foreign tourists through craft villages.
Dao Van Binh, Chairman of the Hanoi Fatherland Front and head of the chapter, said the tour offered a chance for Vietnam to enhance friendship and mutual understanding with partners from overseas.
Moroccan Ambassador El Houcine Fardani, head of the delegation, highly valued the initiatives to strengthen solidarity and cooperation between Vietnam and foreign countries.
He expressed his hope that such activities will help promote the position of Vietnam and its capital city.-VNA
