Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - The complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam as well asaround the world has had large influence among enterprises, especiallystart-ups.

V-Startupcollaborated with Thien Loc Communication JSC to organise the Vietnam BusinessPartnership Matching Day 2020 in Hanoi on July 28.

The event isan activity in the mission of developing markets for innovative start-ups underthe Government’s Project 844 to support an innovative national start-upeco-system.

The activityis organised to provide an overview of Vietnam's post social distancing andpandemic economic situation, and policies to support the Government's economicrecovery, providing opportunities for businesses development, especiallycreative start-ups.

Anotherimportant purpose of the event is to create a connection between investorsand young businesses.

It broughttogether representatives of State ministries and departments, as wellas leading economic experts and investors.

The seminarsought to create a multifaceted ecosystem, connecting innovative start-ups tofind solutions, jointly develop and recover the economy.

Arepresentative from the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment said thatthe department had actively supported SMEs and start-ups through activitiessuch as training, domestic and international seminars and conferences, start-upfestivals and business matching events.

Experts atthe meeting agreed customers’ habits have been changing due to theCOVID-19 pandemic.

Previously,customers went out to markets and supermarkets to buy things. But the pandemichad made them shop online more.

Therefore,experts recommended enterprises push online marketing besides traditional methods.

Experts alsosaid that enterprises should invest more in technology. As the pandemic isreturning to the central city of Da Nang, experts noted that businesses shouldcheck their budget and expenses carefully. Online marketing is a channel thatbusinesses should pay more attention to.

Enterprisesare advised to learn more about online marketing so they can attract customersthrough images and videos as well as to survive fierce competitiveness.

Experts alsoadvised enterprises to develop scenarios to respond to different developmentstages of COVID-19.

Meanwhile,some representatives from the enterprise side expressed wishes that they wantedthe State agencies and relevant organisations to accelerate communications atthe communal level so that more people could access information.

They alsosaid that people’s knowledge of technology should be improved./.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE), Vietnam’s agricultural product exports are inevitably affected by disruptions in global supply chains and the imposition of unilateral, stringent tariff policies by major economies. Construction of AEON Hai Duong Shopping Centre kicked off

With a total investment of around 1.18 trillion VND (45.6 million USD), the AEON Hai Duong Shopping Centre is designed with a total floor area of approximately 3.6 hectares. Spanning an estimated gross floor area (GFA) of roughly 38,100 sq.m, the shopping centre will feature ample parking space for nearly 600 cars and 1,200 motorcycles.

Hanoi to develop 254-million-USD industrial cluster

Until 2030, Hanoi looks to have 159 industrial clusters covering a total area of 3,204 ha, expand five clusters established between 2017 and 2020 with a total area of about 45 ha, and build 21 new ones covering about 536 ha.
