President Nguyen Minh Triet left Hanoi on Sept. 18 to attend a three-day United Nations Summit on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in New York that will start on Sept. 20.
The State leader will present Vietnam ’s national MDG report at the summit. The country has already achieved five out of eight MDGs ahead of the 2015 deadline.
