State President welcomes Cambodian Deputy PM

State President Truong Tan Sang on Nov. 3 welcomed Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sar Kheng, who has just attended the 80 th Interpol General Assembly session in Hanoi.
State President Truong Tan Sang on Nov. 3 welcomed Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sar Kheng, who has just attended the 80 th Interpol General Assembly session in Hanoi.

President Sang expressed his pleasure at the developments of cooperative relations between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Cambodian Ministry of the Interior.

He highly valued the achievements of the two police forces, saying he believed that they will continue to work closely to fulfil their tasks.

President Sang also expressed his belief that Cambodia will competently perform its role as ASEAN chair in 2012.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sar Kheng thanked Vietnam for its support to Cambodian people to overcome natural disaster consequences.

He said on the sidelines of the 80 th Interpol General Assembly session, the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and Cambodian Ministry of the Interior held talks and agreed to increase information exchange, and mutual assistance in personnel training as well as strictly implement the joint declaration and cooperative action plan in 2011 between the two ministries./.
