Students in Laos participate in "I love Vietnamese language" contest

A contest named “Em yeu tieng Viet” (I love Vietnamese language) was held in Savannakhet province of Laos on February 21.

Vientiane (VNA) – A contest named “Em yeu tieng Viet” (I love Vietnamese language) was held in Savannakhet province of Laos on February 21.

The event was jointly held by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Savannakhet, in coordination with the Association of Vietnamese People and the Laos–Vietnam Friendship School in the province. It attracted more than 200 students from primary to high school levels.

The organisers presented the certificates of merit and gifts to the teams that won first, second, third and consolation prizes./.

Vietnam boosts national productivity for economic growth

Data from the commission’s Vietnam Productivity Institute revealed that while productivity growth slowed during 2020-2023 due to COVID-19 impacts and global political instability, Vietnam maintained an impressive average productivity growth rate of 5.6% annually from 2016 to 2023.
