Hanoi (VNA) – A suitcase left by a tourist from the UK on the Da Nang – Saigon SE7 train on January 10 was returned to him one day later with all his posessions intact.

Gillion Lesky Dicorato wrote a thankful letter to SE7 train captain Dang Ngoc Quat and his crew on January 11, saying that “we were so thankful to Mr. Dang Ngoc Quat for returning our case to us!”

Dicorato had travelled with three relatives on the SE7 train. He and his family members left the luggage on the train after getting off at Nha Trang station.

Truong Dai Ngoc, a train worker, who discovered the luggage while cleaning up room 2 on car 12 reported to the train captain and other train guards.

The crew opened the case and recorded the items inside, including mobile phones, an Ipad, a watch, a handbag, money, ATM cards, among others.

They contacted the tourist to return the suitcase.-VNA
