In the first two months of 2026, Vietnam recorded nearly 35,500 newly registered enterprises, with total registered capital of about 313.7 trillion VND (12 billion USD) and a workforce exceeding 167,500 employees.

In the first 10 months of 2025, Vietnam saw 162,900 newly registered enterprises, with total registered capital of over 1.59 quadrillion VND (about 60.2 billion USD), and 967,600 registered employees.

In the first ten months of 2025, Vietnam recorded 162,900 newly registered enterprises, up 19.7%, and 92,900 firms returning to operation, up 40.3%. This brought the total number of newly established and returning enterprises to 255,900, a 26.5% increase compared with the same period in 2024.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of newly registered enterprises in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh has risen this year compared to the same period last year.

Vietnam saw 12,182 businesses established in October, up 3 percent from the previous month, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
