The international project "Russian language in Vietnam: Dialogue between cultures" will take place in person from October 6–16, at educational institutions across Vietnam. It aims to enhance the professional and pedagogical skills of Russian language educators, strengthen connections within the Russian studies community, and promote Russian culture, education and science in Vietnam.

State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Andrey Korneev has expressed the hope to expand the teaching and learning of the Russian language in Vietnam.

A seminar was held within the framework of the Vietnam Week in Russia on April 23, offering a chance for Vietnamese students to share their experience in studying the Russian language, as well as mastering knowledge during their study there.

A regional symposium “Russian language in Southeast Asia” opened in Hanoi on December 15, attracting more than 200 delegates from Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Russia.
