Vietnam attaches great importance to economic, trade and investment cooperation with Russian localities, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh has said.
A seminar was held in Ninh Thuan on December 14 aiming to bolster cooperation and business links between the south central province and Kursk province of Russia.
Economics, trade and investment should be focal cooperation fields of Ho Chi Minh City and Russia’s Kursk province, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the Vietnamese city Le Thanh Liem said.
The central coastal province of Ninh Thuan and the Russian locality of Kursk signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on December 8 to strengthen cooperation.
Vietnam welcomes investors from Russia and Kursk province in particular and will provide them with all possible support, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh told Kursk Governor Alexander Mikhailov.
