Marubeni Corporation of Japan said it plans to invest 12.7 billion JPY (117.7 million USD) for building an instant coffee processing plant in an industrial park in the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung received CEO of Marubeni Corporation Masumi Kakinoki in Hanoi on April 16, calling on his firm and other Japanese businesses to increase cooperation with Vietnamese firms.
Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung asserted that Vietnam extremely values its economic cooperation with Japan while hailing efforts of the Government and businesses of Japan in maintaining their country’s position as the top investor in Vietnam in 2017 and 2018.
Japan’s Marubeni Corporation is seeking investment opportunities in coal exports, gas production, renewable energy usage and waste water treatment in Vietnam.
