State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc has requested to suspend the implementation of approved audit plans due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19.

A Vietnamese delegation led by State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc held a working session with leaders of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the German city of Bonn on February 28.

The State Audit of Vietnam should be allowed to launch audits without having to seek the approval of other agencies when signs of corruption are discovered, said State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc.

“Environmental auditing for sustainable development” will be the theme of the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI 14) slated for September 19-22, 2018 in Hanoi, with the participation of over 350 delegates from 46 ASOSAI members.
