Tan Son Nhat Airport’s Terminal T3 completed 2 months ahead of planned schedule

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on April 19 chaired the inauguration ceremony of Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, which was completed two months ahead of schedule. The domestic terminal is the largest of its kind in Vietnam, with a capacity of 20 million passengers per year, raising the total capacity of the airport to 50 million annually.

Designed to handle 20 million passengers annually, Terminal T3 of the Tan Son Nhat International Airport includes four main components: the passenger terminal, a multi-story parking facility integrated with non-aviation services, the elevated road system at the terminal frontage, and aircraft aprons. The total investment for the terminal is nearly 11 trillion VND (431.2 million USD), with construction beginning in December 2022

Tan Son Nhat airport increases flights to serve Lunar New Year

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has adjusted the flight capacity at Ho Chi Minh City-based Tan Son Nhat International Airport, raising it to 48 flights per hour during the day and 46 per hour at night, in a bid to meet peak travel demand during the upcoming 2025 Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) – Vietnam’s largest traditional festival.
