A representative from Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport stated that, the airport is projected to welcome around 600,000 passengers during the 4-day National Day holiday, starting from August 31st.
Compared to the current daily average of 110,000 passengers at the airport, the number of passengers is expected to increase by about 8% during the holiday.
Notably, on August 30 and September 3, the number of passengers arriving and departing from Tan Son Nhat airport is expected to reach 125,000 per day.
To meet the increased demand, airlines plan to operate around 700 flights daily, a 5% increase compared to regular days./.
