Authorised by his Government, Khampheng Saysompheng, Party Committee Secretary of the Lao province of Luang Prabang, presented the medal to the Vietnamese province.
During the receiving ceremony, participants reviewed the traditional and friendly cooperation between the two countries and Thai Nguyen and Luang Prabang in particular.
On the occasion, the two provinces inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to forge long – term cooperation for their socio-economic development along with other cooperative documents in specific areas.
Earlier, Saysompheng and his delegation made a working visit to the Thai Nguyen University of Education and College of Economics and Finance.-VNA
