Bangkok (NNT/VNA) – The Chiang Mai - Japan Friendship Art Exhibition 2018 is now opened to public, featuring 197 artworks from Thai and Japanese artists in various mediums.

The Governor of Chiang Mai, Pawin Chamniprasert, presided over the opening ceremony of the Chiang Mai - Japan Friendship Art Exhibition 2018 on June 24 at the Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre attended by delegation from Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, the Global Arts and Culture Exchange Association, and the Japanese Consulate-General in Chiang Mai.

The Chiang Mai - Japan Friendship Art Exhibition 2018 showcases contemporary 197 artworks from Thai and Japanese artists on various mediums such as paintings, sculptures, prints, visual arts, ceramics, and handicrafts. It was held under the cooperation between Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and Japanese art association.

The exhibition runs until June 27th, 2018 at the Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre, Chiang Mai city, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.-VNA
