Bangkok (VNA) – Thailand’s government said that it will boost economic cooperation across many sectors with China to develop economy in the upcoming years.
After the first meeting of the Thailand - China Trade and Investment Commission in September , Deputy Minister of Commerce Suvit Maesincee said the two countries will continue five-year cooperation plan in the 2017-2021 period in 14 fields.
The two sides also have plans to discuss cooperation in other sectors, such as technology infrastructure, information technology and communication, and replaceable energy in December.
The Thai government is pushing the policy on the self-reliant development of science and technology in cooperation with China.
It suggested China increase the import of its farm produce, such as rice, and rubber and minimize tariff obstacles to boost trade and investment.-VNA
