Bangkok (VNA) – At least five people were reportedly injured in a bomb explosion in southern Trang province’s Muang district, Thailand on August 11.
The blast occurred at a centre market in Phatthalung road, which is near to accommodations of many police and senior officials, the Trang provincial Election Commission Office, and the local Hall.
The injured were taken to hospitals, and some areas were cordoned off for safety of the public.
No clue to bomber has been found and the case is under investigation.
Trang is known as a relatively peaceful province in the southern region.-VNA
