The prestigious New York Times recently named Da Lat- a romantic town with kaleidoscopic patch works of flower in Lam Dong province as one of the world’s top 52 places to visit in 2016.
As the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong was aiming to expand the export of Da Lat flowers from the current 10 percent of output to 30 percent by 2020, greater efforts were needed.
Both local and foreign experts have urged Vietnamese flower growers to cultivate new kinds of flowers and use high-tech planting techniques to develop the industry.
