Nguyen Huy Thanh brought Vietnam a third gold medal during the last day of competition at the Asian Wushu Championships on Aug. 25 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Thanh successfully won the top jianshu title scoring 9.68 points. Hong Kong's Chen Riguo was second with 9.65.

After five days of action, China took the top position with 20 gold and one silver medals, followed by Iran who earned six golds, three silvers and two bronzes. Vietnam are at third place with three golds, 11 silvers and five bronzes.

The tournament drew more than 350 athletes from 22 countries and territories.-VNA
