The ancient beauty of Thien Nien pagoda at West Lake

If you go to Thien Nien pagoda on a hot day, you could feel the breezy and peaceful atmosphere, complemented by a refined landscape layout, from the neat red tiles backyard to the vast garden.

Thien Nien Pagoda was built in the early 18th century, located at the crossing of Xuan La - Lac Long Quan - Ve Ho (Hanoi).

The old pagoda was constructed under the command of King Ly Nam De, who installed many octagonal pillars, eight inside the pagoda and a few more outside. This is one of the most ancient pagodas in Vietnam as of now.

Enduring all of the storms and winds of history, Thien Nien pagoda has undergone various restoration efforts. However, the pagoda of today still retains its ancient and solemn appearance in a spacious and airy space right next to West Lake./.
