The beauty of Mekong Delta’s largest flower village

Tan Quy Dong ornamental flower village, which is located in Tan Quy Dong Commune, Sa Dec City, in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap, is believed to be the delta’s largest flower village.

Tan Quy Dong ornamental flower village, which is located in Tan Quy Dong Commune, Sa Dec City, in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap, is believed to be the delta’s largest flower village, providing flowers for many provinces and cities in the country as well as exporting flowers to foreign countries.

The flower village was established in the early 20th century. There are about 3,000 households so far living on growing flowersin the village. It has a total of about 500ha of farming land growing hundreds of flowers.

The flower village’s most different feature compared to other flower villages is that the flowers are planted on high flowerbeds to avoid being drown by water and the caregivers have to wear boots or use small boats to take care of the flowers./.
