Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) – Dai Nam Thai Y Duong (Dai Nam Royal Medical Hall) located on Doan Thi Diem street, Thuan Thanh ward is a new tourism service introduced by the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on October 9.
The hall is built in a 4,450 sq.m site, and decorated in the traditional style of an Oriental medical house.
Coming here, visitors will have an opportunity to get pulse diagnosis by Oriental medicine practitioners who are members of the Hue Oriental Medicine Association as well as learn about precious medicinal plants used in ancient royal remedies.
Tourists are also able to enjoy high-class tea and explore the process of making traditional essential oil for therapy.
According to Director of the provincial Department of Tourism Le Huu Minh, the number of tourists to Hue increases averagely by 10-12 percent on a yearly basis.
In 2019, the ancient imperial city is expected to welcome about 4.8 million tourists./.
